THRUSH is a rock trio comprised of Phil Solem, John Fields, and Michael Bland.The band started recording together in Minneapolis back in 1995. THRUSH provided Phil with an outlet for the vastly growing catalog of music he was writing and gave him the ability to take his music in a harder direction than he had previously with The Rembrandts. The music of THRUSH can be described as something like, but not limited to, a combination of rock, punk, and power pop. THRUSH has recorded quite a bit of music and have played many live shows, but with Phil’s commitment to The Rembrandts, John Fields’ status as premiere producer [Switchfoot, Andrew W.K., Mandy Moore], and Michael Bland being one of the best drummers in the world [Prince, Michael Penn, Soul Asylum], THRUSH is something of a side project. 			In 2000, THRUSH released a CD through their website. The self titled album is a high octane rock experience.
